FAQ

Q: Can I adjust the shape of the leather mask?

A: If you would like to customize the fit to your face, full grain leather can be re-shaped. Simply moisten the back of the mask and hold it tightly to your face for a few minutes and then gently set it down to dry. Try to get it just barely damp… if you get it too wet, you’ll have to hold it on your face longer or use a blow-dryer to set the shape.

Q: What kind of leather is used to make your masks?

A: I only use the best quality full grain leather for all my leatherwork. Full grain leather simply means that the hair is removed and the hide goes immediately into the tanning process… The leather has not been sanded or buffed to remove any natural range marks. Full grain is exactly how the grain appeared during the tanning process. Among real leathers, full grain leather is by far the best in terms of quality. Unlike the other grains, full grain has not been separated from the top grain or split layers, and is therefore the strongest and most dependable type of leather.
